As an Inpatient Medical Coder & Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately coding and documenting patient encounters, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining the quality of our medical records. You will work closely with our healthcare providers, ensuring that all patient data is captured and processed efficiently. In this role, you will utilize industry-standard tools such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech, as well as your knowledge of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10-CM) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) to ensure accurate and timely coding. You will also be responsible for conducting regular quality assurance reviews to identify and correct any discrepancies in our coding and billing processes.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Accurately code and document patient encounters using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and guidelines
• Maintain and update medical records in Epic, Cerner, and Meditech
• Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to identify and correct coding and billing discrepancies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all patient data is accurately captured and processed
• Monitor and improve coding and billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Stay updated with the latest changes in coding guidelines and healthcare regulations
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing and Coding, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical coding and billing, with a focus on inpatient settings
• Certification in Medical Coding (CPC) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
• Proficient in Epic, Cerner, and Meditech
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
